Capital may not be ready for Nowruz

‘The Capital’ star Ahmad Mehranfar has said that they would not make the cinematic version of the series due to writer’s death.

Mehranfar noted that the crew is very dispirited on Alvand’s passing and they can’t make people laugh.

Although Khashayar Alvand’s brother, Sirous Alvand, has asked the team to finish his brother’s unfinished job to make him happy.

Ahmad Mehranfar became a household name for his role in the TV series ‘The Capital’ (2011), as he played the role of Arasto.

Khashayar Alvand, the screenwriter of ifilm series ‘The Man with a Thousand Faces’, died at the age of 51.

Five seasons of ‘The Capital’, came out in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018.

The first season started with the story of a family's emigration from the small town of Aliabad to the capital, Tehran, and depicted the troubles they encounter.

Mohsen Tanabandeh, Alireza Khamseh, Rima Raminfar and Ahmad Mehranfar are among the stars in previous installments of the series.
